A Voice from the Heart

Devon Hansen has spent more than 20 years inspiring and encouraging others with her amazing and uplifting story of personal triumph over adversity. Her book, "Angry? Do You Mind If I Scream", has been used by many as an effective self-discovery tool, including the survivors of the bombing of the Oklahoma City Federal Building. In the wake of that horrific tragedy, Devon was the consultant called to work with the survivors, and it was her book that they specifically requested.

Devon has established herself as a nationally recognized keynote speaker and conflict/change management consultant with business, professional and non-profit clients ranging from Bank One, GTE and Rockwell International to the YMCA Women’s Resource Center, Women Survivors of Childhood Abuse and the Domestic Violence Conference.

Connecting Heart to Heart

Devon captivates audiences of any size with her humorous and heartfelt approach to confronting and processing the debilitating effects of unhealthy anger and change-related stress. Whether she’s addressing a group of Fortune 500 executives or a gathering of health care/recovery professionals, Devon connects with her listeners because they know she has personally lived the experiences and human responses that she discusses so openly in her presentations.

When Devon speaks, people listen because they can sense her personal connection to her powerful core message of understanding personal anger. When Devon addresses audiences, she opens their minds to the potential for focused self-renewal by sharing her personal story of triumph over homelessness and abuse.

Lifting Hearts

Audiences laugh with Devon, they cry with her, and they relate emotionally to her uplifting message of recovery and hope. Devon is always an inspiration to her audiences because she is not a person who simply talks the talk — she has lived the experience of everything she speaks so passionately about.

Today’s workplace professionals are forced to deal with constant change and are continually confronted with stressful anger issues. They need to know what anger is, where it comes from and the choices in managing anger. Anger is a natural resistance to change and an understanding of this reality helps transform negative confrontations into positive resolutions. Devon’s range of educational and inspirational presentations are sprinkled with humor and candid sharing that leaves audience feeling uplifted and empowered.
